# Travel Nursing, Uncategorized

Welcome!

It’s about time I make this official, as I’ve now been traveling as a nurse for over 4 years! I’ve worked in 9 states and 13 hospitals. Where does the time go?

FirstDayofSchool(Here I am on my first day of my first 3 travel assignments. Kiki calls them the “First Day of School” L to R – Monterey, CA, Tacoma, WA and Tucson, AZ)

Truthfully, my wife, Kiki, & I been talking about this page for awhile. My goal is to be a resource for those wanting to become travel nurses, and to provide travel tips from my personal experiences.

Currently I am in Shanghai, China as a volunteer with Project Hope. I will be teaching nursing students at SanDa University about critical care nursing, health assessment, and professional nursing English. I will also be speaking/practicing English with other health care professionals, as well as editing papers for Project Hope. I am excited about the opportunity to experience the Chinese culture, as well as learn about the healthcare system here.

I hope you will join me on this journey. Follow along on Facebook & Twitter. You can also sign up for an email newsletter. I look forward to sharing my experiences with you!
